When you lace up your shoes and get ready to run, make sure you have the right tool for the job. Forerunner 45 is the GPS running watch with all the running-related features you need in a sleek, lightweight smartwatch that you’ll want to wear all day and night.
The Forerunner 45 estimates heart rate at the wrist and uses GPS to track your pace, distance and more. It works with free Garmin Coach adaptive training plans that bring personal coaching to your wrist. Safety and tracking with incident detection is included and smart notifications for texts and calls keeps you connected 24/7. The battery life is up to 7 days in smartwatch mode and 14 hours in GPS mode.
You do the running. Forerunner 245 does the thinking. This GPS smartwatch doesn’t just tell you where you ran. It tracks your stats, crunches the numbers and gets to know all about your performance, your running form, your training history and even your goals. All you need to focus on is putting one foot in front of the other.
With GPS and GLONASS tracking, plus wrist based HRM and 24/7 activity tracking the 245 also now includes color screens, pulse ox monitoring and built in incident detection. The biggest update though, is music storage on the 245 MUsic, with storage of up to 500 songs and the ability to sync to Spotify. Battery life is up to 7 days in smartwatch mode, and a full 6 hours in GPS mode with music.
